The photo of a kissing dog and a dolphin went popular on the internet, and it came out that they had been pals for almost eight years.

We are sorry to disappoint you if you believe that a dog is a man’s best friend. It appears that dogs get along with everyone!

A dog became friends with a dolphin in Florida, and their images are just what you need to see today. Gunner the dog and his longtime dolphin pal Delta became celebrities a year ago. It’s no surprise that their narrative will make you fall in love with them. The dolphin lives on Grassy Key Island, Florida, at the Dolphin Research Center seashore reserve.

Marie Blanton, the dog’s owner, works for the organization and frequently takes the pet with her to see his mate with fins.

Blanton expected Gunner to bark or become agitated when he first arrived to the docks. But his reaction was the polar opposite: he just lay down and began to observe.

When Marie took Gunner along, she began to see that Delta was always the first to swim up to him. She gave the dog her toys, and he tried to play with them. Gunner was barely two months old when he was initially introduced to the dolphins. The dog is now eight years old, and his bond with Delta, 11 years old, has only gotten stronger. Even though they don’t see one other as often as they used to, they still recognize each other.

When the retriever comes to visit the docks, the dolphin is always the first to sail to him, according to Insider. A viral tweet by @ woollyback made the story of Gunner and Delta public.

The guy shared a snapshot of the pair on his Instagram account. Over 1.2 million people liked the tweet, and approximately 250,000 people retweeted it.
