The Gentle Barn is a one-of-a-kind California sanctuary that provides a unique kind of cow hug treatment.

People feel at ease when they engage with animals. As a result, a unique shelter in California was established to assist both people and animals.

The Gentle Barn is the poetic name for the refuge. Here you’ll find cows, horses, llamas, dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, lambs, and other creatures. Every animal in the shelter has a unique tale to tell. They all came here after being abused by their previous owners.

It is not inexpensive to run an animal shelter. As a result, the proprietors devised a novel business model: they opened their doors to those who desire to connect with animals.

The cows are the center of attention at the shelter. Unfortunately, the first cow that folks embraced has already passed away.

She was a shelter legend, having “hugged” over 300,000 individuals over the course of her life. Ellie Lacks, the owner of a shelter, first noticed the soothing effects of animals and their psychological advantages 20 years ago.

As a result, she made the decision to allow anybody to speak with the animals.

On the grounds of the refuge, there is also a vegan restaurant. People come here for therapy from all around the country. The shelter has even expanded to two other locations in neighboring states.
