There are good people everywhere! One day, concerned neighbors phoned the volunteers to report a nursing pit bull in their neighborhood. The dog appears to be frail and afraid, yet he refuses to leave the house. When animal rescue personnel arrived on the scene, they instantly recognized the dog. She appeared to have pups, was frightened and a bit terrified, but was not violent and established eye contact with everyone right away.
The dog looked at everyone as if she was pleading for assistance. Mom yearned for her children and begged them to return. She took volunteers to the residence where her children were being cared for.
The dog’s owner was in prison, and family members were hunting for him, but the rescuers didn’t trust them. The dog had not been fed in a long time, and she was underweight and malnourished, indicating that she had been out on the street for more than a day. The volunteers did not receive the puppies, but they did transport the mother to the shelter.
The rescuers then returned with a young girl who assisted them in removing the pups from the premises. The children were sent to a shelter, where their mother awaited them.
