The list of winners at the London presentation event on February 19 was remarkable, but so were the gorgeous ensembles. She was of course given special consideration this evening. The current reward now holds a special significance for her.
She is stepping out on the red carpet for the first time as a princess of Wales rather than as the duchess of Cambridge. The white dress, which had been significantly changed, has already been worn by her in 2019. She accessorized the flowy dress with mass-produced jewelry and black opera gloves.
These cost roughly £18 each. Princess also had her hair cut short and applied nighttime makeup with a light eye accent. To complete the appearance, her hubby wore a black velvet trouser suit and a bow tie. The future king also looked considerably better in his velvet suit than he usually did.
And perhaps the moment she makes the heartfelt and slightly sarcastic gesture will be remembered more than when the winners are declared at the award ceremony. Fans of the pair, however, are open about their admiration, saying things like, “She is very kind,” and “I never stop being affected, gazing at them.”
