A large family’s desire came true with the birth of the girl: the family’s long-awaited new member was born.

With 14 boys, the Shvandt family from Michigan is very exceptional. The mother exclusively gives birth to males, and this is something that the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shvandt, have become accustomed to.

Due to their several sons, they have been regularly included in local news pieces as a result. The couple has used humor to cope with this, and they even gave their youngest son the name Shiboyegen, which refers to an Indian rite that was supposed to guarantee the birth of a girl but in case it didn’t, the shaman would chant “boy again.”

Although Maggie, their daughter who is 28 years younger than her elder brother, is a blessing to their family, arrived later in life. The mother, Taylor, acknowledged that the sheer number of kids living there may make things hectic at times, but she hoped that Maggie would help to bring some order to their daily routine.

Despite the strange circumstances, the Shvandt family is a loving and distinctive family that has discovered happiness in the midst of chaos.
