A volunteer named Meghan took care of the puppy, and she subsequently acknowledged that seeing him had affected her emotionally. She couldn’t tell the dog was a German shepherd until she gave it a close look.
The dog had a number of problems that kept him from completely appreciating life. He was identified as Konge and found to be just a year old, making him fairly young.
Thanks to skilled, compassionate, and loving vets, he made a speedy recovery after having his back operated on. He will be placed in a permanent home as soon as his condition is stable.
