A 2-month-old black Lab from a shelter was brought in 14 years ago by Anne O’Connell. He had been abandoned on a cart. Even though Anne was determined to avoid having a puppy, she couldn’t help but bring Cherry home.
Jamie and Anne, who are engaged, are both veterinarians. Cherry, who was 14 at the time of their marriage, was very important to them. They got married in September. This year, the dog’s health was discovered to be serious.
The week before the wedding, his condition deteriorated, and Anne decided to bid him farewell. Cherry, however, didn’t have any incidents at the wedding. He didn’t appear to be him.
The owner was led to the altar by him! He was unable to go back, though. He was carried by Sister Anne in her arms. It was such an emotional affair that everyone was moved to tears.
About a week later, Cherry was no longer with them. He quietly drifted off to sleep at home in front of the stove, surrounded by a loving family. It has been a wonderful 14 years, It’s definite, says Anne.
