By using recycled newspapers to create animal sculptures, a Japanese artist protects the environment.

Sakura Sato decided to utilize her creativity to address the problem of superfluous paper goods. The artist creates magnificent animal sculptures from them. Sakura showed early signs of her creative skill.

After finishing her degree, she pursued her studies in design. Sakura had shown remarkable skill in the arts when she was at the institute. She is presently highly recognized not just in her own nation but also in Asia and Europe.

Animalistic themes are Sato’s area of expertise in sculpture. She substitutes newspapers for everyday items. Sakura creates incredibly realistic three-dimensional animal sculptures using paper that she washes and then rolls into the appropriate form.

After carefully scrutinizing all the details of the chosen animal, the artist meticulously duplicates the same paper shapes with the accuracy of a jeweler.

It takes a lot of time and work to create such minute detail. First, Sakura took care of everything on her own.

But after she became well-known, she realized she couldn’t manage the volume of work alone. Friends and family members were eager to work with the Japanese woman and become her apprentices. What a sweet girl, yes?
