The three-year-old pit bull Meryl and the eight-year-old pit bull Tako met each other in a shelter. They both had their owners accompany them there. From the time they first met, our heroes were inseparable.
They can’t be apart for more than a few minutes without weeping and complaining. As a result, they share a single enclosure and always snooze together within the shelter.
A man recently arrived at the shelter. He was looking for a wonderful friend, and when he met Meryl, who was stunning, he instantly fell in love with her. He was prepared to greet her because all the paperwork had been done.
As they were escorted out of the enclosure, Tako and Meryl both started to whimper. They looked at each other with a pain in their eyes. Meryl stood immovably with her four paws crossed.
When the man saw this closeness between two puppies, he decided to adopt them both. Now Tako and Meryl live together and continue their friendship.
