A cat with online fame raises $10,000 for Ukrainian animal charities after escaping an explosion.

Numerous citizens are now in risk as the invasion of Ukraine proceeds. Even animals have faced serious risks, from pets being split up at the border to zoo animals being unable to leave war-torn cities.

Because to his humorous viral videos, Stepan, the most well-known of them, has a large following. His owner recently claimed that she and the cat had made it to safety after surviving blasts close to their apartment. The proprietor describes the initial, disastrous days of the onslaught.

She asserts that her home was safe for a week until falling shells completely wrecked it. The owner said, “We spent two nights in the basement and were without electricity for a week.” To charge the phone, we had to travel nearby to the basement.

After a 20-hour trek, the woman and the cat were finally able to depart the city thanks to volunteers who transported them to the train station. Since crossing the border, they have kept their word.

On the cat’s Instagram account five days ago, there was a picture announcing a fundraiser for a Ukrainian animal charity. Surprisingly, the cat’s followers gave a powerful response. The woman stated that they had raised $10,035 in a later tweet!
