When a kind guy sees a dog trapped in a 20-foot hole, he approaches to offer assistance.

Late in May, a guy who was coming home from work noticed a dog that had unintentionally fallen into a large hole. At the bottom of a ditch, a dirty dog was sitting and looked down at the guy, perhaps pleading for him to stop and assist him.

Even with all his effort, the guy would not have been able to use his hands to pull the dog out. However, he was unable to abandon the sad man to perish. The man asked others on Facebook for help. He described the incident and supplied a picture of the dog in an effort to track down its owner.

The man then made a call to the stray animal control division and asked them to attend to the scene. Soon after, a rescue team and many firefighters came; without their ladder, it would have been very difficult to transport the animal to the top. The poor canine was soon saved as a result of the professionals’ quick and effective actions.

He looked to be in fair condition despite his trauma and was just mildly dehydrated. Social media helped to track down the dog’s owner, who quickly brought the animal home. How the dog ended up in a pit so far from his house is still a mystery.

Perhaps he was so happy to be out for a stroll that he neglected to exercise caution and missed the ground trap. The man’s kindness and pleasant nature were noted. Given that only a few hours may make the difference between a person’s life and death, the man does not view himself as a hero.
