Jina’s first few months were a roller coaster of emotions. She merely wanted a permanent home where she could finally unwind, and she knew she could give that to her ultimate owner.
She called the shelter because she had decided to adopt Jina and give her the forever home she had always wished for. McCalum was unable to view Jina prior to bringing her up, and when she arrived, she found her already in her carrier, so she simply drove home with her carrier.
According to Diana, the kitten seemed uneasy at first and didn’t comprehend what was going on. Jina was unsure, but her new mother’s look revealed that she, too, was caught aback by the notion that everything was for her.
Jina had arrived at her destination after a long period of uncertainty. While it was difficult to avoid seeing and speaking with Jina before taking her to her new home, the expression on her face when she first saw her new life was well worth the wait.
