An unhappy cat with a missing ear approaches passers-by in the hopes of finding a new home.

It’s a pity that no one wants a kitten with a genetic defect. These cats have the nicest personalities, and they are vivacious and affectionate. Take a look at Hoppy, for instance.

The 9-month-old cat was born without an ear and was abandoned by his owners when they could no longer care for him. The Hoppy’s shelter battled to locate the appropriate home for him, and months went by with no success.

Hoppy, on the other hand, would not be deterred by such a situation. Every individual who came to meet him was greeted by the kitten. It was odd at first, but it soon became evident that Hoppy was looking for a place to call home.

Hoppy wasted little time in getting to know his coworkers and passers-by. The kitten was too much for a couple from Alaska. Hoppy’s vibe drew them in and they accepted him right away after looking at a lot of kittens.

He sprang up on his legs and began waving his paws as soon as they entered the room. An ear was unimportant to them; in fact, they considered it was a distinctive trait.
