A photographer captured an amazing bond between a wolf and a bear on video.

In the forests of northern Finland, Lassin Rautiainn, a 55-year-old wildlife photographer, captured a rare pair of friends: a juvenile male bear and a she-wolf. According to the photographer, the creatures were regularly seen together and exhibited no symptoms of aggression against one another.

On the contrary, they shared a deer-shaped dinner on several occasions. Bears and wolves are diametrically opposed and can’t stand each other, therefore this is unusual.

Lassin kept an eye on the pair for 10 days. He said he has no clue why they are so friendly, but believes it began when they were both very young and that collaborative feeding assisted them in continuing on.

Lassin is unaware of any other such incidents, at least in Europe. Occasionally, you can see cubs of different species befriending one other at zoos. Although this phenomena has not been observed in the wild, there are always exceptions to the norm.

This anecdote demonstrates that when it comes to friendship, animals are frequently unconcerned with looks or even species. It is something that people must learn as well.
