A dog was discovered tied in the courtyard of abandoned property in October. After being freed, the dog was sent to an animal shelter. The volunteers concluded that the dog had never lived in the house and had never felt human affection based on its behavior.
He was frightened and fearful of the other people at the shelter. The dog had become used to the people who had rescued him. In contrast, he did not interact with other people or animals.
But it wasn’t long before it was clear that underneath all of the pretended hostility, there was a lovely dog seeking affection. The dog began to exhibit affection for everyone as soon as he grew acquainted with his new surroundings.
Everyone the dog encountered along the road he wanted to embrace. According to one of the shelter’s staff, when the dog was let off the leash for the first time in the yard, he went to her and stood for over fifteen minutes, hugging her around the waist.
In the winter of 2020, the dog was able to find new owners. They claimed the pet was not fit for them and returned him after barely a week and a half. The dog is still in the shelter, hugging each of his new companions to demonstrate his devotion.
And the volunteers can only hope that the sweet puppy will one day find a family that will love him.
