Animals, even those of the most improbable species, may serve as role models for us in terms of a good relationship. The fact that their dog spends a lot of time with the cow was overlooked by one household.
But they had no idea how intimate and intense their connection was. The dog was adopted by this household when he was still a puppy. Despite his family’s love and care, the family cow adopted the role of mother to the small pup.
The youngster was welcomed by a cow, who raised him as her own. When the dog learned that the cow had been placed into a truck and headed for sale, it was understandable that he was concerned. When the dog realized his closest friend was missing, he was upset.
He even followed the vehicle for a long time, disregarding the owner’s cries, until he was tracked down and returned. What had transpired had taken him completely by surprise.
When the dog went and resurfaced a week later, the owner realized something had to be done. Because all he wanted was to make his pet happy, the man returned the cow the next morning.
