A firefighter made hearts flutter on Facebook when he posted photographs of himself with a kitty embracing his body. He shielded the cat from the blazing fire.
He showed in the images that the feline would not abandon him as he went about his duties in the woods, so he kept the cat clinging to him.
He posted on Facebook, “She simply relaxed on my neck and shoulders as I walked about.”
Despite having an essential job to accomplish, many were commenting on the photographs and urging the firefighter to bring her home.
‘My heart and prayers to God go out to the almost 2,000 families who have lost their houses, as well as every individual who has lost friends and relatives,’ he posted on social media about the fire.
‘I anticipate that my team and individual firemen will be safe.’ I’m thrilled to be here to help, and I’m eager to get to work doing what we do!’
