Kittens learn to confide in people when they know they are being cared for.

A litter of five kittens was sent to the shelter after being discovered outside. A volunteer named Kelssey established a pleasant and serene place for the cats to decompress and de-stress in, as well as lots of food.

The kittens had unique patterns on their bodies and were around a month old. They were cautious and gathered in a corner of their cramped room, trying to keep each other safe and sound.

The cats began to emerge from their shells one by one. When one of the little cats summoned the bravery to approach Kelssey and put her faith in her, the others chose to follow suit.

In just a few weeks, these formerly scared little kittens have changed into joyous, courageous, and warm furballs. Now that they’ve gained confidence, the cats are spending more time in their playpen.

The kittens will never have to venture outside again. At the refuge, they’re thriving, hopping, and climbing to new heights. In half a month, they’ll be ready to see their joyfully ever-later and as adored as indoor felines.
