The tiny cat is completely enamored with his gift and treats it as if it were a child.

A stray kitten litter was rescued and sent to a shelter. Matillda, the tiniest of the bunch, was the weakest of the bunch.

‘It was determined that she would come to my house to handle the problem,’ confirms Ashlyn, an expert in newborn tiny cats with unique needs.

The small kitten had several ailments, including serious pneumonia, which was detected.

Despite the veterinarian’s diagnosis, the little kitten clung to life with energy, and Ashlyn felt compelled to assist. Matillda was thankful for the assistance and rolled over after each meal to ease her tummy.

Throughout her strengthening, Matillda had to isolate herself and spend a lot of energy on herself. When Ashlyn saw how unhappy she was, she surrounded her with soft toys, but Matillda chose one of the numerous toys for consolation.

‘I got her a toy sheep when she was three weeks old, and she became hopelessly fascinated with it.’ ‘I used to sleep with him in my arms,’ Ashlyn adds. The kitten was fortunate to meet such a compassionate individual who was willing to assist her in getting through her ordeal.
