Time and time again, a sweet shelter dog is turned down because he is ‘Too Big.’

Ruby was taken up as a stray three years ago by animal control. He was quickly adopted, but he soon became a stray and ended himself back at the shelter.

Since then, his shelter buddies have been working hard to find him the perfect forever home. Regrettably, kids continue to hear the same things.

Ruby is six years old, and while he has a few years under his belt, he still has a long way to go. He’s basically a big dog when it comes to personality.

He enjoys life and is looking for a family to share it with. Ruby is a huge dog, and while he is doing well at the shelter, he is still a large dog. He needs more room to move around and be himself. This is why the shelter is looking for a home for him.

What most people don’t realize about Ruby is that all of his flaws are also strengths. There’s more of him to snuggle with since he’s so big. He’s upbeat, curious, and a lot of fun. Who wouldn’t want him to become a part of their family?

Ruby hasn’t found the proper home yet, but his shelter friends aren’t given up. His ideal family exists somewhere, and they will cherish him to the moon and back.
