Due to her own special wheelchair, baby lamb can now stand on her own for the first time.

Animals with disabilities may find it difficult to go around on their own, making life difficult. But, thankfully, there are nice people willing to step in and help, using a little creativity to give these creatures the freedom they require.

A humanitarian organization recently gave a baby lamb a customized wheelchair to help her survive. Kicki was born on a farm, but once her mother rejected her, she fought to survive. Her rejection left her famished and unable to walk on her own, as lambs rely on their mothers for food.

Thankfully, the lamb was taken in by the group, who promised to give her a second chance.

Despite the fact that the lamb has overcome challenges and is receiving wonderful care, her rescuers realized she wouldn’t be safe until she could stand on her own.

According to the blog post, ‘She has spent much of her early life laying down and can only rest on one side of her body, causing terrible pressure sores to grow.’

Fortunately, the organization was able to help her by providing a harness.

It’s such a major milestone for her to be able to stand on her own two feet!’ Her caregivers are happy and satisfied with the lamb’s progress, despite the fact that the rehabilitation process will be lengthy.
