In March, Lilo and her mother Ember moved into their new home.
Lacky was one of the first to introduce himself to the visitors. Despite the fact that his yard was divided from Ember’s by a wooden fence, the two canines immediately became acquainted.
‘We’d never lived in such close proximity to other dogs before, and Lilo was ecstatic to see another dog on a daily basis!’ Ember expressed her thoughts.
Lilo reciprocated Lacky’s attempts, but her parents perceived it as nothing more than a growing relationship. ‘Lilo would constantly rush up to him and give him a few licks,’ Ember recalled.
‘When we let her out, the first thing she’ll do is jump up to the fence to see whether Lacky is out,’ Ember explained. ‘She’ll sit at the gate and wait if Lacky isn’t out.’ Lacky was similarly enamored with Lilo and even created a method to get closer to her.
Nothing makes the two dogs happier than spending time with each other. Lilo’s parents, for the most part, are understanding of her boyfriend’s frequent visits. If Lacky and Lilo have taught us anything, it’s that love is uncontrollable.
