Anna and her beloved dog Sebastian were together for many years. Despite all of life’s ups and downs, the small puppy never fails to smile at the girl.
“He was and always will be precious to me,” she said. «We were inseparably linked.»
Sebastian devised an adorable motion to express his love for Anna from the various options available to him.
Sebastian stepped over to Anna and clutched her hand with his little paws, as though at the ideal moment.
She explained, “He liked hugging my hand.”
But, as enjoyable as their time together was, it could not remain indefinitely. Unfortunately, the dog died in the autumn of last year.
Halchin was sad when her pet dog was suddenly separated from her. But, in the midst of her anguish, she devised a charming way to keep Sebastian in her life forever.
“I wanted something that would be with me at all times, and the tattoo seemed to fit the bill,” Anna explained.
She went with a design that was inspired by Sebastian’s favorite pose:
In the same way that Sebastian would accept Anna in real life, he now accepts her in spirit, as memorialized in this creative homage.
“Now it seems like he’s holding me every time I glance down,” the girl explained. «It helped me a little.»
Despite the fact that Sebastian isn’t present, he still makes Halsin smile and comforts her when she needs it most. As usual.
Sebastian lives on in the hearts of others today, owing to this tattoo in his honor.
Anna’s body art triggered a stream of well wishes and acclaim after she published it with an online pet loss support group – both for the tattoo and for the adorable puppy who inspired it.
Sebastian’s hug is still going strong.
“I want to imagine it’s him every time he says, ‘Hi mom,'” she adds, referring to the messages she received from individuals who sent her images of their dogs that were similar to Sebastian’s.
