When this cop made his routine call, he never expected to meet a new best friend. It was love at first sight for the kind cop and the beautiful dog he met. He didn’t leave after only a few minutes of holding her in his arms. They’ve become inseparable.
Officer Marcus was sent to the Animal Society, a local shelter, where he was tasked with resolving a dispute between the center and a former employee. But he had no idea that by the end of the day, he’d made a new furry companion.
«We spoke for around 20 minutes while I completed my investigation,» the officer explained. «One of the supervisors had left the room. The supervisor came back in with this small dog in his hand while I was still talking to the principal. «His eyes were heavy, so it’s safe to say he was sleeping.»
The cop fell in love with the lovely young child as soon as he met him, especially after learning of his tragic past. The puppy was left in a box at the shelter’s front door overnight, and a staffer discovered him by mistake the next morning. The cop knew he wouldn’t go empty-handed after embracing him for a few minutes, so he adopted Kaylo, as he eventually named him.
“I just looked in his eyes as he yawned at me when the supervisor brought him in, and I told the supervisor, ‘Don’t bring him in here, because I’m going to take him home right now,'” Montgomery recounted.
«I just stared into his eyes as he yawned at me when the coworker brought him in, and I shouted to the management, «Do not take him, because I will take him home right now,»-he added.
Everyone, even his other dog, fell in love with this adorable Kaylo when he brought him home. «My girlfriend and I have always wanted another dog because our other rescued enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs,» he explained. «Even at his age, many looked at Kaylo and said they didn’t want to be responsible for such a dog».
