The dog in the South Texas streets was very thin, raced down the road or between houses, and appeared and vanished swiftly. The sad animal was brought to the notice of one woman and her spouse. A bald and ailing dog was spotted by the couple, who grabbed it and alerted animal rights activists.
Ana, the dog, was filthy and appeared to have scabies. The breed could not be determined, but it was apparent that the dog had been mistreated in the past. The dog was taken to the vet by the animal advocate.
