Two chimps who have recently been rescued meet and refuse to let go of each other’s hands.

Terry and Jeannie, two chimps who have just recently met, have formed a great connection. Terry was saved from a tiny zoo where he had been alone for 18 years. Jeannie was rescued from a medical laboratory.

The two reach out to each other in the video provided by Save the Chimps and refuse to let go of each other’s hands. Save The Chimps states, “Terry recently met Jeannie and they didn’t want to let go of one other’s hand.” Save The Chimpanzees, a nonprofit that offers shelter for chimps rescued from research facilities, the entertainment business, and the pet trade, currently has the two chimps.

Save the Chimps is a remarkable organization that has rescued many chimps from dangerous situations, such as Iris, a 32-year-old chimp who was rescued from a small, bleak roadside zoo in Georgia.
