This incredible story took place in the city of New York. There was a fire in the old garage, and there was a lot of commotion, terrified individuals, and fire engines. Everyone was concentrated on putting out the fire and salvaging property, at least what could be saved. One of those there spotted a cat that kept returning to the burning structure and carrying little kittens out of there.
This fluffy family shared a garage, and the cat was the mother of five kittens. The cause of the fire is unknown, although everyone knew there were no people in the building at the time, but there were animals, as it turned out. The cat kept fleeing from the burning chamber and returned. The firefighters attempted all they could to get the cat, but she refused to give up. People soon discovered that she was a mother, and that she was pulling her infant between her teeth. She moved the cat away from the flames and went back for the next one right soon.
Even though she was terribly injured, she managed to remove her kittens from the flames, and because there were five of them, she rushed into the fire five times. The cat and her puppies were taken to a veterinary facility by one of the firefighters. This courageous mother was even featured in the papers, and she received several offers of assistance. The children grew up and were immediately separated, and the mother-heroine was taken in by a loving woman.
