Lily, a sweet stray dog, was wondering the Romanian streets. She was following passers-by in an attempt to get their attention. But, like so many stray animals, no one saw her.
Fortunately, volunteers from the animal shelter «Howl of a Dog» noticed her and offered to take her in. They enticed her with sweets in order to gain her trust, and they were successful in completing their task. The dog sensed he was in capable hands.
Volunteers took Lily to the vet to make sure she was in good health. Fortunately, she had just minor issues, such as fleas and lice on her fur. As a result, she was prescribed the appropriate medicine to treat them.
Lily was then transferred to the shelter, where she may have given her first wash. She also learned how to walk on a leash. She was adequately nourished and cared for.
She has now been adopted by a lovely family and is living her ideal life in a warm and loving environment.
