For several years, Ahmed Embaby has volunteered at the Furever Rescue Foster in Cairo, but he has never had a buddy as loyal as Arafa the dog. He was removed from the street, where he was having a difficult time due to his blindness.
Arafa is now safe. He is surrounded by kind and compassionate individuals, but Ahmed is the one who has become genuinely precious to him. Arafa follows him throughout the shelter, according to the guy, and Ahmed refers to him as a “blind protector.”
When a volunteer comes at work in the morning, the dog goes towards him as soon as he shouts out the dog’s name. And, despite the fact that he cannot see anything, he identifies his dear buddy by the sound of his voice – and he is never wrong!
“It’s a pleasant surprise!” According to Ahmed. “The dog’s unbounded enthusiasm with which he welcomes me never ceases to astonish me.”
This is another another example of how incredible and selfless the love of dogs can be. Although Arafa’s eyesight will never be restored, his emotional and physical state has much improved since his arrival at the shelter. He never stops thanking the rescuers for rescuing him and caring for him, particularly his best buddy Ahmed.
The shelter does everything it can to locate the dog a new home with loving people. But this is difficult since few people in the city are willing to care for a blind dog. Despite this, Arafa smiles as he is rubbed by Ahmed’s soft hands.
