When a couple went to a shelter to adopt a cat, the cat refused to let go of her closest buddy, and they ended up having to shelter both of them.

Let us introduce you to Luna and Louis.

The two kittens met at the Gainesville, Florida-based STAR Shelter. Although Louis was a loner, Luna clung to him and refused to let go. As a result, their sweet friendship began. James and his girlfriend went to a shelter to hunt for a dog before discovering these two closest friends but instead came home with two cats.

“When we started looking for the dog, we forgot that we live in an apartment and work full-time.” “We don’t spend much time at home, and the dogs require a lot more attention,” James explains.

“As a result, we decided that adopting a cat would be the best option. After all, I’ve had cats my entire life and know how to provide them with the proper care.”

“When my girlfriend first met Luna, she fell in love with her. We took some time to reflect and returned two weeks later. Luna had not vanished. She took a nap with Louis and the other felines.” The potential foster parents were well aware that they would not be able to leave the shelter without a furry companion.

Luna, on the other hand, was adamant about not leaving without her closest pal.

As a result, the couple decided to take Louis with them, although only for a short while. So Luna can rapidly adjust to a new environment. It became evident a few hours after people and cats arrived at their home that the two furry friends could not be separated. They are two halves of one whole, and their link is extremely powerful. Within a week, Louis had assimilated into the household. That means the best pals will never have to say goodbye!

“They like looking after one other and taking naps together. “They work together on everything,” James explains. “Luna and Louis have been sitting beside our Christmas tree for the past three days. They spend the entire day here cuddling, kissing, and playing.
