While windsurfing, Mauricio Camareno and his buddies came saw a unique creature that appeared to have erupted from the ocean.
They heard the animal’s noises as soon as they got close to him. The animal was clearly sobbing based on these noises. It was a whale cub that was in terrible shape. He couldn’t move because of the tremendous wave.
The animal appeared to be malnourished and terrified. Mauricio was interviewed by the publication and stated:
“The creature was so frail that it couldn’t even swim!” The men wasted no time in taking the initiative and doing everything they could to save the whale.
The first thing they did was transport the animal to a deep enough spot in the water. The guys had to hold the whale in their arms to save him from drowning since he was so feeble. When the animal wailed, they did all they could to soothe it. They assisted the animal for more than six hours in order to allow it to regain its strength and swim on its own. The whale cub began to feel better after some time and was able to swim without help again.
We have no idea what happened to his mother, or if he ever located her when he was able to swim in the open ocean. But, due to Mauricio and his pals, who were curious enough to find out where the weird sound came from and did everything they could to aid a whale pup in distress, he did not die alone and abandoned on some unknown shore.
They are true heroes, we affirm once more.
