Pitbull rescued from the streets cuddles her new guinea pig siblings at night.

Moki, a two-year-old pit bull, was discovered on the street. Her owner got himself into a pickle and ended up on the street.

Moki became a stray dog when he no longer had the opportunity to care for a pet. But fortune shone on the pit bull when she was discovered by Kristy Gamayo, 44, at the San Francisco municipal shelter where she was transferred after being seized.

Frida and Pandora are Kristy’s guinea pigs. The woman was concerned about how Moki might respond to them after bringing him home.

She didn’t want her new pet to make her guinea pigs afraid or worse, bite them. But her suspicions were unfounded; all three liked each other from the first minute. The dog first smelled the guinea pigs through the cage bars before getting to know them better when Kristy held them on her lap.

The owner sat the guinea pigs on the couch for months, allowing Moki to nuzzle their silky fur.

When the woman understood there was nothing to be scared of, she let the rats go on the floor, where she discovered Frida and Pandora resting in Moki’s arms after half an hour. The rescued pit bull and her two new buddies have been inseparable since that time. They sleep together on Moki’s duvet, and she licks their fur lovingly at night.

Until she met Moki, Kristy said she didn’t felt attached to any of the dogs at the shelter.

There was no barking or growling from the pit bull. Kristy felt compelled to take her home since she appeared to be depressed. The shelter personnel began to discourage Kristy from adopting the dog after learning that she has guinea pigs at home. They were worried that Moki might hurt, if not kill, the rodents. Kristy, on the other hand, decided to take a chance. And it was not in vain!

Kristy comments, “They’re such a fantastic team, and they look so cute together.” “They’re made for each other.”
