A dog with a missing paw is great friends with a little girl who was born without feet.

Nine pups were born in a German Shepherd litter, one of them was born without a front paw.

Dan was the name of the unfortunate kid.

The breeders were quick to offer to euthanize the puppy so that the kennel’s image would not be tarnished, but the dog’s owner, Karen Riddle, denied such a drastic option.

Rather, the woman chose to offer the animal an opportunity to find happiness and a loving family.

Karen reasoned that if she could find a particular youngster or a wounded veteran, the dog would be ideal for them. Dan might possibly be turned into a therapist dog to aid in the rehabilitation of those who have lost limbs.

However, times have changed. The lady is then told the story of Sapphyre Johnson, a three-year-old child who was born without legs.

Karen purposefully chose to attempt to link the two when the child was in the hospital. Furthermore, Karen was able to speak with the girl’s parents, who enthusiastically embraced the proposal and felt that Sapphire and Dan would make an ideal match. Karen Riddle gave the small girl a photo of a dog for the first time, and she gazed at the dog for a bit before saying,

“This is my doggie,” says the owner. He reminds me of myself!”

“Dan is a special dog, and he will have a special child,” says Elaine Hardin, who specializes in children with special needs. When the puppy and the girl met in real life, they became fast friends.

Sapphyre’s father was overjoyed as he watched his daughter child begin to play with the dog and throw him a toy.

This issue brought two souls together. A puppy found a nice place and a girl genuine companion.
