The cat was born a month before her owner’s breakdown, and the woman believes they were intended to be together.

Amanda lost her work in 2016 and was diagnosed with depression by physicians. The woman then decided to get a pet in the hopes of giving her life a boost.

On an ad site, she noticed a little black and white cat. Amanda drove an hour one way to pick up her four-legged pal, Cookie.

The woman believed the cat was parasite-free and might help her cope with dehydration, but this was not the case.

She had to rush Cookie to the doctor after two days, when she was diagnosed with severe dehydration and a worm-infested stomach. Amanda was unable to place the cat in a hospital because she lacked the necessary funds.

As a result, the mom made the decision to care for the infant herself.

Cookie could not be given worming pills since she was underweight and had a poor immune system. Amanda created homemade pies using boiling chicken and fish to help her gain weight. A tablet was pushed down the kitten’s mouth every 6 hours. There was also a lot of bathing going on.

The kitten had an illness after finally getting rid of the worms. For months, Amanda struggled for Cookie’s life. She has come a long way in her rehabilitation and is now a happy, healthy, and active pet. Amanda recalls days when she couldn’t get out of bed because she was depressed.

A four-legged one, on the other hand, reverted to her and was always there to assist her.

“I suffered a nervous breakdown a month before Cookie was born.” I believe we should have discovered each other sooner. “We rescued each other,” Amanda explained.
