Since he was a youngster, Marolyn Driver’s parents’ farm in New Zealand has had the clever sheepdog Louie. He was a happy, interested puppy with a lot of energy when he was a few weeks old, and he loved going around their property and investigating their neighbors.
However, as he grew older, his daily schedule altered, and he began to linger out about their home.
That’s why, when Louie didn’t show up for many hours one day, his parents became concerned. When Marolyn went to see her parents on that particular day, she saw them distraught.
But, thankfully, the dog came home with an odd letter around his neck after a few hours. Louie seemed tired and filthy. Someone was threatening to hurt him, according to his relatives. However, after reading the handwritten message, they were more relaxed.
The message was written by Rob, who described Louis as his hero as he brought him to his dog Maddy, who was trapped behind a branch pile. Rob, the family’s next-door neighbor, had a dog named Maddy. They soon discovered what had happened to them. Maddy was also missing that day. Rob, her owner, began looking for her everywhere she may go. However, the search yielded no results. When he returned home, he ran into Louie, who insisted on Rob following him.
Rob followed Louie’s instincts and was surprised to find his missing dog entangled in the bushes. Louie began digging, assisting Rob in locating his companion.
Maddy was saved thanks to this heroic dog. The two exhausted dogs dashed to a neighboring pond, where they leaped into the water and began drinking it. Louie was so exhausted that day that he refused to eat. The family was worried about his condition, but the next day, when Louie noticed his friend in a basket on the back of his owner’s bicycle, he suddenly healed and began playing with his companion Maddy.
