The pregnant pig, driven by strong maternal instincts, flees the farm in search of a better life for her piglets.

The maternal instinct is amazing.

Some supernatural power seemed to urge the pregnant woman to go outside the farm’s fence, leaving her confinement, where new food appeared every day.

The expecting mother was finally free in the woods. She discovered a comfortable hole and gave birth to nine piglets there. Mom seems to have figured out what was in store for her children on the farm. Domestic pigs may live for 15-20 years on average, although they are rarely successful. When newborn piglets are chosen for breeding, they might be considered fortunate.

Otherwise, they will only live for a few months before being eaten. The pig nursed the babies and hid them in the wild. But she was gradually losing weight: she couldn’t eat due of the ring in her nose, and nine children require a lot of energy.

She was fortunate a second time: as the farm’s owners were investigating a valuable loss, friendly individuals came upon the young mother and alerted local animal rights activists.

The volunteers assessed the situation right away and took the pig. They looked after the children and fed the mother. They were determined to save the courageous pig, but it was not an easy task. They couldn’t just take her since she was a lost property, according to the law.

The volunteers then launched a massive press campaign. They narrated the narrative of a courageous woman who put her own life on the line to ensure that her children were born free.

They asked farm owners to let pig live her dignified life and also let the babies grow adulthood. All of the neighbors came together to help the brave mother. When the farm’s owners were reached, reporters taped a story on the pig and her piglets returning to the pen. Later, the same volunteers came together, raised money for  purchasing the complete family and care for them.

They could agree with farmers and fortunately bought a shelter, where pigs relocated.
