A 2-year-old kid has had his skull reconstructed. He was given a puppy that looks exactly like him.

Branson Figueroa, a 2-year-old English boy, needed skull surgery owing to severe fluid pressure on his brain. The mission was a success. Branson’s parents decided to cheer him up by bringing him a dog as a token of their appreciation for his bravery.

Branson named the Boston Terrier Thanos, after one of his favorite Avengers characters. In their Nottingham house, the two became close friends, lying on the carpet, playing tug-of-war with a sock, and cuddling each other. After a few days, though, the parents discovered something unusual about the new pet.

“Thanos snoozed a lot and swayed a bit. “He even fell while walking on occasion,” claims the boy’s mother, Heather Figueroa, 32.

Thanos, it turned out, had fluid in his head, and the doctor told the family that he could need the same therapy as their son, which included an MRI and surgery to alleviate pressure on the puppy’s brain. Because veterinary labs in the area were closed owing to the coronavirus outbreak, Thanos’ test results were delayed.

Meanwhile, concerned citizens began donating funds only for Thanos’s prospective procedure.

“You have no clue how much this means to us,” Branson’s mother remarked. “My husband’s income is our only source of money for our family of five.” We didn’t know where to search for money for our dog’s operation after our experience with Branson. “It’s really a miracle,” Heather explained.
