The woman swam in the 18-degree water for almost 12 hours. She was only able to stay alive because dolphins were swimming close.
Khosrow Khosravani, a university instructor, was just recently granted a license to operate a boat. He was sailing with buddies from Marina del Rey to Paradise Cove Beach on that particular day. He noticed a pod of dolphins circling in one spot and attracting attention while cruising in the open ocean.
Khosrow noticed a woman’s hand in the water as he swam closer to them.
“I would never have seen this woman who had only a few minutes to live if it hadn’t been for the dolphins,” Khosrow recalled. The man stated that he gave his companions a safety lecture before sailing. “I informed them that while these talents are rarely used in practice, they must be learned.” “And they all have to remember what I told them after 30 minutes,” Khosrow continued. The water was drained of a nude woman.
She couldn’t move or speak because she was fatigued and freezing. Warm blankets encircled the woman. Khosrow also made touch with the rescuers.
A crew came within 7 minutes and carried the woman onshore.
She ended up being trapped in the river when she went to swim alone at night.
