The little boy and his feathery best friend do everything together, and the duck becomes the child’s defender, accompanying him wherever he goes.

This little child is really fortunate since, instead of a plastic duck, he has a live one for a bath!

Beaker the duck (Bee) arrived to the Young family as a duckling in 2015. There were just three ducklings left at the pet store where dad Christopher provided duck food, and two of them were sold. Without his buddies, Lonely Beaker was unhappy. And the seller agreed to let Christopher have it (although the rules only allow selling in pairs).

Little Tyler and Beaker were fast friends.

Tyler’s first word, according to his mother, Jennifer Young, was “duck.”

Tyler’s parents quickly created a dedicated Facebook account for Tyler and the duck, where they posted images and videos of Tyler and the duck.

The mother of the infant adds, “They did everything together — they played, ate, and slept.”

“Thankfully, Bee was a breeze to train on a leash. Both decided to wear diapers, albeit Bee’s gets out of hers on occasion. Their bond became stronger as the pair grew older. “Crisis prevails in the family from the moment they get up until it’s time for them to go to bed in the evening,” Young explained.

“As soon as Tyler sits down to eat, Bee begins clamoring for food as well.” Like a pair of naughty pups, they chase each other about the home. Tyler’s room can be turned upside down in less than five minutes. “The weird thing is, they both look to be guilty to me,” Jennifer explains.

Bee is a true friend’s defender. When Tyler begins to cry in his mother’s arms, the duck rushes up to her and quacks to ensure that the baby is not in distress. The family always kept domestic ducks, but outside. Bee, on the other hand, is an outlier. When Jennifer heard stories of people keeping ducks in diapers at home, she chuckled. Bee, on the other hand, is as clever, devoted, and adorable as any dog or cat. Tyler, of course, sees nothing unusual here. He’d spent his entire life with his feathery closest buddy.
