Nutmeg, who recently celebrated his 31st birthday, is not officially recognized as the world’s oldest cat.

This cute cat  is a contender for the title of world’s oldest cat. Recently he celebrated his 31st dazzling birthday, which is equal to 141 years for mankind.

Nutmeg, a stunning, magnificent cat, selected his owners by showing up in their garden one day. It has been roughly 25 years. Ian and Liz Finlay, two kind people, chose to adopt the stray dog, who got friends with their pet cat Spice.

The kitten had a health issue, an abscess on his neck. When his owners took him to the clinic for treatment, they were told that Nutmeg was around 5 years old.

Because of this, the tabby kitten may be the world’s oldest cat.

Unfortunately, they’ll have to present the Guinness Book of World Records the adorable cat’s birth certificate, which they haven’t done yet. Nonetheless, they are still working on it.

Nutmeg became ill last year and suffered a major stroke. But, to to his humans’ surprise, the powerful cat healed completely and continues to rule the Finlay household to this day. Liz and Ian are left wondering how many lives their pet cat can have.

Nutmeg is a spoilt cat that can wake up his owners at 5 a.m. to beg them to feed him, but that doesn’t obligate them to adore him.
