Leia was always a self-sufficient pet, yet she appreciated each family member in her unique way. Surprisingly, it was determined that Leia’s strongest bond is with her father. Katie’s father was diagnosed with cancer not long after her parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

The man was transported to the hospital and made to stay for many days. Katie’s mother noticed a moving sight when she returned home from the hospital, concerned that Leia had been abandoned.

She patiently stood by the entrance with her head lowered, waiting for “dad” to return.

Fortunately, Katie’s father arrived home after a time – and Leia couldn’t contain her joy! The poignant reunion made the two delighted.

Because Katie is frequently on the road, she opted to leave Leia with her parents after consulting with them.

Furthermore, she and her father have such a wonderful bond.

“When it comes to loyalty, Leia is the epitome of it. “Dad is her only and devoted owner,” Katie explains.
