These images illustrate how a lion cub’s mother falls onto a cliff. She was risking her own life, to save her young who is about to fall.
Both of them would have died if the mother had made a single mistake.
Three adult lions were first meant to assist the infant. The other two, however, retreated because the cliff was too steep for their long and tenacious claws.
Only a brave and caring mother had the courage to kneel to her kid and save him, physically lifting him in her teeth.
