Andrew and the cat have become good friends over time and enjoy spending lots of time together. Andrew adores receiving hugs from the cat. In an effort to find the cat, Nina, Andrew’s mother, looked via many Facebook groups, went to shelters, and wrote reviews.
Sadly, nothing worked out until five weeks after Finnie disappeared, when someone wrote on Facebook that she had located the cat. In his own words: I got in touch with him after seeing a lot of pictures of him on Facebook and found out he was just behind us.
He was on the following street. Nina was ecstatic to learn that he had been found, safe and sound; now all they had to do was arrange their rendezvous. It looks that one of his neighbors looked after him and kept him safe at his home until his family could pick him up.
In order to give Andrew a fantastic surprise, Nina organized the entire process to get Finnie back. When they arrived at the neighbor’s house together to wait for the “gift,” Andrew was shocked to see Finnie in his neighbor’s arms. Andrew was filled with emotion when he learned they had discovered his closest buddy.
