A 32-year-old woman was attacked by a polar bear after she jumped into their enclosure at the Berlin Zoo.

A polar bear attacked a 32-year-old woman at the Berlin Zoo on Friday after she jumped into their cage while they were being fed.

She had been bitten numerous times before to her rescue.

To get inside, the woman, only named as Mandy K, had to clamber over a fence, hedges, and a wall.

The woman leaped over the bars while feeding the bear at the Berlin Zoo, injuring her arms, legs, and back.

Despite six zookeepers’ efforts to redirect the four predators, one of the bears repeatedly bit the victim’s arms and legs.

The zookeepers managed to scare the bear away and save the woman.

The 32-year-old woman is currently resting in the hospital after having surgery to heal her wounds.

It was then revealed that she is a teacher who has become depressed as a result of her inability to find work.
