During her and Prince Harry’s three-day tour of Nigeria on May 10, the Duchess of Sussex couldn’t help but share a sweet discussion she had with their two-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet while visiting students at the Lightway Academy.
Meghan told a kindergarten class, “Our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys,” People said. She’ll turn three soon. And a few weeks ago, all she saw when she looked at me was my eye’s reflection. She then says, “Mama, I can see myself in you.”
The 42-year-old recognised that she was now speaking literally. But my interpretation of those words was very different. “Yes, I see myself in you, and you see yourself in me,” I told myself.
She said to the students, “As I look around this room, I see myself in all of you,” while sitting next to Harry in the classroom.
Throughout their visit, the couple, who are also the parents of five-year-old Prince Archie, taught the kids how to sing and dance and played games with them. Meghan stated, “That’s Lili’s favourite class,” according to the publication. “Perhaps it’s all the hopping around,”
Although Meghan and Harry like to keep their personal lives private, they frequently provide glimpses into their four-member family.
In February, the Duke of Sussex told Good Morning America, “The kids are doing great.” The children are maturing like all children do—very quickly.
The woman, who is 39, continued: “They both have an amazing sense of humour and make us laugh and keep us grounded every single day like most kids do.” “I’m just really appreciative to be a father.”
