Beloved superstar has died this morning in a tragic car accident

A football prospect for the NFL who died in a car accident on Saturday morning made a heartbreaking final post just hours before his death.

Police say a speeding automobile murdered Khyree Jackson, 24, and two of his pals. The Minnesota Vikings selected Jackson in the NFL draft recently.

Police reported early Saturday morning that Jackson, the cornerback, and Hazel, the driver, were both pronounced dead on the scene. Hazel was Jackson’s high school teammate.

Anthony Lytton Jr., a fellow passenger and teammate, was taken to the hospital but subsequently died as well.

On Friday, Jackson shared a 10-slide Instagram carousel of photos from his life, including one of him at Vikings practice, with the comment “Mmmhmmm.”

Jackson also shared photos of himself smiling on the beach with two parrots, flexing with a reptile, and taking selfies in front of a mirror to show off his fashionable outfits.

In a photo from the post comparing “dreamers” and “doers,” a group of “dreamers” watch a man labelled as a “doer” surf a massive wave.

Jackson truly was a “doer.”

According to TMZ, the football player enrolled at Fort Scott Community College after graduating from Dr. Henry Wise Jr. High School. He worked his way up, eventually playing for the Oregon Ducks and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

According to Oregon Live, Jackson had his best season so far in 2023, making him the Ducks’ best cornerback.

They selected the 24-year-old cornerback in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

“The news of Khyree Jackson’s death after an overnight car accident breaks our hearts,” the Vikings announced in a statement.

“The Minnesota Vikings have talked to Khyree’s family and offered their support while we look into the matter further.”

“We have also communicated the news to Vikings players, coaches and staff and have offered counselling for those who need emotional support.”

“Our hearts go out to Khyree’s family, friends, teammates, coaches, and all the other people who died in this terrible accident.”

Jackson’s “contagious energy” inspired the other players to play.

“The news of this breaks my heart.” “Khyree’s energy spread throughout our building and team,” O’Connell stated.

“His teammates liked him right away because he was sure of himself and had a great personality.” While we were together, it was obvious that Khyree was going to be a fantastic professional football player. What particularly impressed me was his desire to be the greatest person he could be for his family and those around him.

“I’m not sure what to say. Khyree’s loved ones, teammates, and coaches are in my thoughts and prayers.

Around 3 a.m. Saturday, Jackson was driving in a Dodge Charger with two former colleagues when a fast-moving Infiniti drove out in front of them.

According to police, after being hit, the Charger veered to the right and collided with multiple tree stumps.

According to authorities, the Infiniti also hit a Chevrolet Impala.

The Impala’s driver, Cori Clingman, and the two passengers in her vehicle were unharmed. Neither was the driver of the Infiniti.

After the investigation, no charges have been filed.
