The View on ABC is regarded as having a bad reputation due to the intense conversations and cutting remarks that are promoted on it. Critics claim that the hosts prioritise their own political agendas above constructive debates. The show attempts to entice viewers with daring statements and discussions, but its future is uncertain, especially as Disney moves to exit the underperforming channel.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, a well-known pop culture personality, made headlines in a recent interview on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen for her candid comments about Joy Behar, one of The View’s co-hosts. When asked about her interactions with certain celebs, Snooki candidly shared her feelings regarding Behar, surprising Cohen with her candour.
Snooki described Behar as the “rudest celebrity” she has faced in the 14 years since becoming famous on “Jersey Shore”.
Cohen was surprised and questioned Snooki again if Behar was “rude” to her.
“Joy was so mean to me,” the MTV personality admitted without hesitation.
Cohen pressed on, eager to discover more. “She cornered me in the bathroom!” Snooki claimed before adding, “And said, ‘You’re not Italian!'”
The host immediately gasped, prompting Snooki, 35, to double down on the claim.
Cohen then inquired about how the “Messyness” co-host reacted during the purported interaction. “I said, ‘OK, ma’am,'” Snooki replied.
Snooki did not say when she had her nasty interaction with Behar, although she did share a video ridiculing The View host in early 2011. The now-deleted video, caught by TMZ, showed Snooki and her best friend Farley pretending to be older Jewish women. In the video, Snooki performed “Joy B” and discussed how “trashy” she was.
The video shows the two calling Behar a “Italian wannabe” and criticising her for disliking the “Jersey Shore” group, stating that kids like them damaged her youth during “the Great Depression.”
The video was later removed because, as Snooki stated, people took it too seriously.
