Every living thing should remain free since it was made that way. It is immoral and inhumane to keep an animal in captivity. The life of a caged dog was not what this creature deserved.
Not even the sun had a chance to shine on her. It is awful to imagine such a miserable life. Fortunately, this terrible incident had a pleasant ending.
The Humane Society’s volunteers helped release this small puppy and 130 other animals after they were found in a dark cellar in a horrible condition.
The sad animals were imprisoned at the puppy mill for years because they were too afraid and disoriented and had a terrible face. There were just three good teeth in her mouth; the rest were rotten and broken. She weighed around 2,2 pounds.
She wasn’t alone in that dark, dreary dungeon. There was absolutely no ventilation in the cellar. The miserable creatures had previously been housed in separate, small cages, but they are now all allowed to wander freely forever. She has not seen the sun and has not interacted with many people.
Over the years, she gave birth several times. The rescuers were unable to determine the age of the poor creature because of her horrifying appearance. She had such a bad reaction when she first saw the sun.
It was surprising and exciting for her to witness nature for the first time and feel the soft grass beneath her little paws. She now resides with her adopted mother, who makes every effort to provide her a nice, happy, peaceful, and secure existence.
