A little, recently-born sphinx was once sent to the California facility. The owners of the kitten with the name Lavender reported that the mother of the cat had no desire to take care of the cubs.
The center staff began the cat bottle feeding, but they were aware that his mother’s care was his last hope. Six days later, a cat called Arina who had been transferred to the center from another shelter began exhibiting an interest in the kitten.
She already had her kittens, thus she was a mother. But now that her mother had abandoned her, she was glad to welcome the young Lavender into the household. The cat began to feel affection for her and began to treat her as if she were her own.
“Arina vowed not only to give Lavender breast milk but also to give her the affection that she needed so desperately,” the Center’s director said.
Under her foster mother’s supervision, Lavender quickly recovered her vigor.
Once the vets have finished their comprehensive evaluation of Lavender’s health, the whole family will start hunting for a permanent home. What a charming tale.
