It happened in Spain. She was just ten months old when she arrived at the shelter in horrible shape. Nobody knows who abandoned her, but animal rights activists realized she had been abandoned.
The dog was given the name Pasta, which was inspired by Italian pasta, because of her frailty. However, the owner of the shelter, Edvardo, decided to take up Pasta’s rescue and provide necessary treatment.
When she first came to the shelter, she weighed barely 7 pounds 200 grams; today she weighs nearly three times as much. Few believed her therapy would be effective because she could only move her head and wag her tail.
Edvardo stated that he has never seen a dog in such a situation in all of his years of practice and that she would not have endured another night on the streets. The pasta had some troubles at first, but everything was rectified after a few weeks.
She now resides with her rescuer, where she has formed friendships with five of his other dogs. Fortunately, the story has a happy conclusion, and the canine is OK.
